New English Classes

22 Jun

Our evening English lessons for children were proving so popular that the class was overflowing, so we decided it was time to set up another. Thanks to some generous fundraising from family and friends we can now afford to run two evening classes for the children each day. There are nearly 30 students in each!

Our new class in the evening, with slightly older children at a higher level.

Our original evening class still going strong

Our original evening class still going strong.

It also means we can separate the children into higher and lower levels, ensuring no one gets left behind or finds it too easy. Our teacher Sambath is brilliant, making the classes really interesting. Being able to speak English here is so crucial in later life so we are all thrilled we have been able to increase the number of lessons we can provide and children we can help. Thank you for your support!

Working hard.

The students really enjoy learning with Sambath.

I am always so very, very happy to read about Goodwill activities and to see photos of “my” children. I miss them all, as well as the staff!
