A brief look at what the center does.

A Fond Farewell
The time has come to bid a very fond farewell to two of our students, Vann (far left) and Puth (center right). Both have attended our evening classes (both computer and English) for many years and have been fantastic students, both very bright and hardworking. The parting is not a sad one however as the two have been lucky enough to get the opportunity to move to live with a relative in France, opening up a new world of opportunities for them. Everyone at the Center wishes them the very best of luck in this new adventure!
Container Part 2: Computers and Other Charities
Our fantastic new computers from our friends at A Heart For Cambodia are now fully operational and thanks to the dedicated fundraising efforts of Liz Morris our computer classes are now running for 2 hours five nights a week. The new computers make such a huge difference with far better software and capabilities, we even have some students now learning design on Photoshop!
As we have more computers than before we have also been able to take on a few new students and each of the classes is at full capacity. Computer literacy is such an important skill in this day and age and it is fantastic to be able to provide our community with the opportunity to study it.
We have also completed the distribution of other computers, clothes and desks from the container, with Friends of Koh Rong, Steng Hau and Painting Smiles school, all receiving computers, desks and clothes. These donations make such a huge difference to charities such as ourselves whose funding is always limited, so once again a massive THANK YOU on behalf of all of us who benefited to those who made it possible!
